September Sunset Day 4, 2020

The September Sunset Series were created during a 30-day Painting from Life challenge offered by Strada Easel. I chose to follow a theme and to paint the Sunset of the same view of our farm for 30 days. Every day, I'd set up my easel on our back porch to see what glorious colors would evolve. Some days were rainy and cloudy, which gave way for nice grays and lavenders. Other days were so bright and blue that hardly a change would appear until right before night fall when all the reds, oranges and yellows would appear. Most of the evenings the sky would fill with a miraculous palette of colors. No matter the weather or colors; I would set up my easel to capture a fraction of what my eyes would behold. I enjoyed participating in the painting challenge and thankful for the growth it gave me spiritually and artistically, but most of all I enjoyed the awe-inspiring wonders of The Master Artist.
