Blake Edward Thomas, henceforth to be known as BlakeET, is a native son to Flowood, Mississippi. Within his artistic life, he has experimented with oils, watercolor, and many drawing mediums, but primarily works in acrylics on canvas.
BlakeET sees "art as a universal language that teaches us many things about being ourselves. Don't panic, own your capabilities, and go for it." His father, Carl Thomas, a 40 year veteran of the commercial arts, provided BlakeET and his brother the unique opportunity to watch and learn art techniques and witness dedication to the arts. The love of art from his father, and strong positivity from his mother has charged BlakeET with a passion to inspire others through his work. BlakeET has had solo exhibitions at Capital Grill and Pelican Cove, and many other shows around the Greater Jackson area. He works daily at his craft and enjoys spending time with his daughter as she begins her artistic journey.
